First Book in Women Who BossUp Series to be Released in August; Giving Female Entrepreneurs a Glimpse into What it Takes to Succeed in the Words of Those Who Have

Los Angeles, CA – Tell your story and change a life. That is the simple but powerful premise behind the new book, Women Who BossUp, which comprises the success stories of women from around the globe who have overcome great obstacles to find and follow their purpose. Yet what started as a single book has caused such an early buzz that the organization behind the book has turned it into a series and accepting stories from entrepreneurial women across a variety of categories for future iterations.

Women With Vision International (WWVI) – a collaborative of women who explore and address difficult issues facing other women – founded by Tam Luc, is the creator of Women Who BossUp. The book profiles 15 women who have broken down barriers, overcome challenges, and inspired change through innovation, passion, and education. The featured individuals represent locations around the globe, different walks of life, and varied disciplines like STEM, healthcare, non-profits, finance, and coaching.

“Women Who BossUp is about empowering women to pursue what truly excites them by presenting them with a role model they can relate to. I personally needed to find my tribe to push me out of the comfort zone that was making me unhappy and push me toward my dreams. I believe this book and the ones to come will do that for budding entrepreneurs and those who want to get to the next level,” said Tam Luc, a serial entrepreneur, best-selling author, and founder of WWVI.

In fact, as word of Women Who BossUp spread in WWVI’s global community of entrepreneurs, Luc soon realized that there was also demand for collections of relatable and actionable stories for businesswomen by businesswomen across more specific categories. Based on feedback, content for the series was narrowed down to eight additional classifications, all under the Women Who BossUp moniker. They include: Women Of Color, Corporate America, Single Moms, Give Back, Health and Wellness, In Tech, Side Hustlers and Daily Habits.

Yet, Luc said that there are business benefits to the books as well. Participants can build their reputations as thought leaders and subject matter experts to boost their bottom line and raise their public profile.

“No one ever said that changing lives and making a living are mutually exclusive. Women Who BossUp contributors are doing both and that is what being an entrepreneur is all about,” added Luc.

Women with stories to share for future renditions in the series are encouraged to apply at https://bossupbestseller.com/apply. For more information and to pre-order Women Who BossUp, go to bossupbestseller.com.
