FHE Health Publishes Its Latest Research Findings

FHE Health, a healthcare institution that is widely renowned for delivering quality, medically integrated personalized treatment for those suffering from Behavioral Health Disorders, is at it again! This time around the institution makes public its findings on the relationship between boozel consumption and mental health. The survey which used clear infographic to explain each result can be accessed through https://fherehab.com/learning/covid19-mental-health-effects-survey.  In addition to being accredited by both the JOINT Commission and the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), FHE Health is also licensed by both the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA). This makes FHE Health and its academic findings a force to be reconed with when it comes to health issues.

Furthermore, as a teaching institution that cares for the Florida community and the whole nation, the institution also, from time to time, trains new set of professional healthcare workers who will take the baton and advance its mission in the future. The institution publishes its new findings on the impact of COVID-19 on booze consumption and mental health on https://fherehab.com/learning/covid19-mental-health-effects-survey. The findings reported that the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting fallout had introduced dramatic life changes for many people and the research samples analyzed, fully show the relationship between the two phenomena. The findings results revealed that from higher anxiety levels to experiences of grief and loss, few lives had been left untouched by the developments of the last few months. And all that are due to the COVID-19 pandemic in America and some other countries of the world. The survey result is easy to interpret as it has infographics that are self-explanatory and percentile that simplifies each detail.

The research which was designed to observe how the coronavirus pandemic has really affected Americans’ works and finances discovered that while lost income, reduced work hours, and a spike in unemployment claims which always accompany pandemic should be expected during and after this COVID-19 in America, that the booze consumption at this period has a relationship with the outbreak of COVID-19. The survey revealed that one in three of the respondents spent their stimulus money on booze. Also, the number of respondents who stockpiled booze during COVID-19 is higher when compared to the number of people who drink or get high during work hours. This means COVID-19 caused a spike in booze consumption when compared to the primary reason people drink. Another phenomenon explored by the research is the work-and-finances equation: the stimulus check and its impact on Americans’ spending habits.

At FHE Health, our thoughts are with those most affected by the crisis. We’re also very mindful of the potentially damaging, behavioral effects of these seismic changes in Americans’ lives—so we conducted a survey of 500 respondents to gather and analyze data related to substance use and mental health wellness during this time. The results show many Americans are struggling with healthy coping mechanisms and compromised mental health right now.” Posted FHE Health on its official website, as regards the findings of the survey recently conducted on the impact of COVID-19 on alcohol consumption and mental health.

The survey also revealed the relationship between COVID-19 and mental health of the respondents. Most respondents reported a dip in their mental health, as COVID-19 rages on. More interestingly, though, were the mental health issues that respondents said they were experiencing during the quarantine—and, the various stress coping tools they said they were using to stay healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
