The author is currently working on an MG (Middle Grade) story featuring a girl transformed into a fairy, possessing magical abilities and facing off against the evil Dark Fairy. Another project involves a determined, independent teenager affectionately called the Honey Badger.
Adams’ choice of the name ‘Special Susie’ for his wife is rooted in a tender childhood memory. With several Susans in her class, Sue received a nickname from her teacher, leading Adams to console her with the words, “Don’t worry, darling, you’ll always be My Special Susie.”
