Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing commended for service innovation by Edge Hill University
Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing, the Preston-based training company, has been commended for service innovation by Edge Hill University. Hosted by the university SME Productivity and Innovation Centre, the awards ceremony took place at Waterfront Southport Hotel, and recognised a number of small businesses on the evening across categories, including Growth Strategy, Technology Innovation and Leadership for Growth.
Winners on the evening included Inovus Medical, Bright Engineering and Blackpool Grand Theatre, and the event showcased the resilience and agility shown by a range of SME’s across the North West in what have been challenging times, especially for some sectors. The Outstanding Achievement Award was picked up by The Progress Group from Liverpool for their revolutionary learning platform that provides educational provision for those unable to access traditional education.
Lee Chambers, the founder of Essentialise Workplace Wellbeing, received the commendation for Service Innovation this week, awarded for their creative use of virtual reality to create emotive inclusion experiences within their training programmes. This has been pivotal in them growing their training offering and acquiring new clients. As a business, they have also used the university upskilling qualifications to advance the skillsets of the wider team.
On being highly commended, Lee Chambers said, “We are very proud of how we have evolved our service over this past year, and we have received great feedback from clients on just how impactful it has been for their teams. But to receive similar recognition from a respected academic institution means an awful lot to us, and we can only thank them for their encouragement and support.”
