Carton Tribe Drops New NFT to Raise Awareness for Missing Persons

Hand-drawn CARTONS bring missing persons posters into the digital age

A new NFT to help thousands of missing persons reunite with their families is being released for sale.

The CARTON NFT, short for non-fungible token, is a charity project that aims to tackle the issue of missing persons using the popularity of cryptocurrency to raise awareness and funds.

Working with various charities, Cartonsbytberry will bring the concept of printing the photos of missing children on milk cartons into the digital age. Charities that work to find missing persons would be able to auction the NFT cartons containing the digital photos of the missing to help families find their loved ones.

Created by artist Alex Thornberry, the hand-drawn milk cartons will generate funds for its owners and create a constant revenue stream for missing person charities by giving them 10% of royalties every time the token is resold.

“It is an investment, a donation, a community, and an experience all in one,” said NAME AND TITLE.

Two thousand (2000) cartons will be made available to the public as part of this charity project, with new, original NFTs released weekly. Each one-of-one piece doubles as a ticket to purchase a hand-painted canvas from the artist.

More than just a collectible, each carton is the original work of Cincinnati-based Thornberry, whose goal is to use the power of NFTs to raise awareness around the issue of missing people, which number about 600,000 in the United States every year. To further this goal, Thornberry plans to create a custom NFT for one lucky charity that can be auctioned off to generate funding.

About CARTONS by Tberry

The Carton Tribe is aiming to build a community of like-minded individuals who want to use the power of the NFT space to not only provide quality art to the community, but also raise awareness for the often-overlooked issue of missing people. Ten percent of all sales from hand-drawn cartons go towards a charity assisting with missing peoples’ cases.
