The SkinCeuticals® TCA Peel is a moderately deep chemical peel that provides deep exfoliation to remove dead, dry skin cells, while improving moderate to advanced signs of aging. This peel features trichloroacetic acid, glycolic acid, and a post-peel anti-inflammatory cream. TCA is a self-neutralizing acid that takes away and dissolves epidermal proteins. This helps to improve exfoliation. When the TCA is applied to the skin, it causes the top layer of cells to dry up and eventually peel off revealing smoother, younger-looking skin.

SkinCeuticals® Smart TCA Peel significantly improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, and discolorations. It provides improvements in the skin’s tone and texture as well. Clients will see some immediate improvements with additional improvements for 30-60 days.

There is minimal downtime with this peel treatment. There will be 5-7 days of peeling, during which exposure to the sun is discouraged.
